This line has two parts for us to apply to our own life.
- Technique never fails – “practice makes perfect” isn’t fully true. As Vince Lombardi said, “Perfect practice makes perfect.” If we keep doing something with poor technique, we will only get better at doing it the wrong way. Successfully communicating with others, cooking a meal, exercising…in all these areas and more, it is vital to use good technique.
- Given Time – the first part of Hewg’s quote is conditional. All too often it is easy to give up, especially when we think we are doing something correctly, but we do not yet see the results. Persistence is required.
